THE FILM "ENERGY 3D"

We went to watch the film  "ENERGY 3D", a pedagogic documentary on energy directed to students of our age. It's a love story between two teenagers that becomes a window to the world of science and technology.

It is the first pedagogic 3D film about energy and the ways to save it.

These are the thematic areas that appear in the film:
  • Energy is what makes everything work.
  • Energetic attitudes: energy saving is essential
  • Fossil fuels for the automocion.
  • Electronic vehicles
  • Solar energy. Energy saving in buildings
  • The good use of energy at home
  • Eolic energy
  • New energies and their relationship with energy saving
  • Recycling
  • The use of vehicles which do not use fossil fuels
  • Hydraulic energy
  • The hydrogen cells: responsible consumption in transport
  • Atomic energy
  • The good use of energy: energy saving
Here is a link to trailers of the film: http://www.energia3d.es/

and here are some of the students' opinions about it:
  1. Patricia: "The ENERGY 3D film is a documentary that mixes fiction with a love story between two teenagers in an educational and pedagogic content that shows us in 3D the different energies that we use in our daily life. A combination which could be the key to a  more attractive and interesting teaching for the students".
  2.  Anna: "After watching the film we discussed it in class and many students said that they had enjoyed it very much because it wasn't a documentary about energies, but a romantic film where the girl saved energy and the boy didn't, but with little interesting explanations on energies and how we could save them. It was very interesting".
Here is a questionaire about the film:
  • How can we go to school without polluting?
  • How long does it take to air a room?
  • What are aerogeneradors?
  • What are renewable energies?
  • Say a useful way of using radiation from the Sun
  • What happens whenever Alex accelerates its vehicle (the motorbike)?
